 BACKGROUND

 

FHTC is a small family business employing approx 20 people in coaching, administration and maintenance roles.  Our pupils range from 3yrs of age right through to adults, however the centre specializes in the following…

1) Developing primary school aged children into strong teenage competitors and coaches

                                                                                  2) Junior and adult fixtures competitions and

                                                                                  3) Club events.

 OUR VISION

FHTC shares the vision of Tennis Australia, International Tennis Federation, United States Tennis Association, and The All England Lawn Tennis Association through providing the correct modified coaching and fixtures programs for 5 – 10yr olds endorsed by the above mentioned leading Tennis associations.  (Aviva Tennis Hotshots & Mini Tennis)

 

Match Play is the highest priority – Each pupil of 8yrs + is encouraged to play lots of matches.  This is facilitated through the following programs and events...

Aviva Tennis Hotshots Fixtures, Inter Club Fixtures, Club Championships, School Championships, Holiday Camps, Tournament Touring Team and lots more.

 

FHTC creates an environment where friendships are made through encouraging players of a similar ability and age to learn, train and play together.

 

Initiative and self motivation is highly regarded and our pupils are encouraged to practice in their own time. Free Sunday Family Membership is offered to all Hotshots fixture pupils & theChallenge Ladder provides an affordable match play option.

 

FHTC provides encouragement and goal setting for our pupils so that each child builds in confidence, self esteem and ability.

 

FHTC offers a real future for pupils who excel in their tennis and gives back by training and employing select pupils who have shown loyalty and commitment to FHTC throughout their junior years. We offer this through School based Traineeships & recognized coaching qualifications.

 

OUR COACHES

 

FHTC coaches are positive, encouraging and focused on developing our pupils into tennis players for life. 

 

Whilst only a very small percentage of players will actually make it on the World Tour, FHTC coaches focus on making tennis…

·        A sport that will keep their pupils fit & healthy as they get older,

·        A sport that lets them socialize and meet new friends

·        And a sport they can use as a coaching career or part time job to pay the bills whilst they are studying at university or as a future career.

Through providing the right advice and encouragement each child will be given every opportunity to fulfill their tennis goals.
